In short

Lunia has no account and no sign-in, and every sound is made on your device. To fix crashes, understand how the app is used and measure our ads, Lunia uses Google Firebase and Meta's app events SDK. They receive app usage, purchase and device information, not your name or email. Your advertising identifier is shared only if you allow tracking when Lunia asks. We don't sell your data.

What stays on your device

To work, Lunia keeps a few things in its own storage on your iPhone: your answers to the first-run questions, favorites, saved mixes, recently played sounds, your listening history and streak, and your settings. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are deleted when you delete the app. All sounds, music and nature sounds are generated on your device, and Lunia works offline.

Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

This is tied to a random identifier for this installation rather than to you. We use it to fix problems and improve Lunia. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Measuring our ads (Meta)

Lunia uses Meta's app events SDK to learn whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead people to install Lunia, start a free trial or subscribe. Meta receives these events (with the plan and its price), technical details about your device and, only if you choose “Allow” when Lunia asks for permission to track, your device's advertising identifier. The SDK doesn't start until you've answered. You can change your answer at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Meta's privacy policy applies: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Apple Health (optional)

If you turn on “Save to Apple Health” in Library, Lunia saves your meditate, relax and focus sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. Lunia only writes this data; it never reads anything from Apple Health. The data stays in Apple Health under your control, and we never receive it.

Alarms (optional)

If you switch on the backup alarm for a gentle wake-up, Lunia asks iOS to schedule an alarm on your device. Nothing about it leaves your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchases: apple.com/legal/privacy.

What we don't do

We don't ask for your name, email or any account. We don't read your contacts, location or anything from Apple Health. We don't sell your data.

Deleting your data

Deleting Lunia removes everything it stored on your device. To ask us to delete analytics or crash data tied to your installation, email hello@upriseapps.com with the subject “Lunia data deletion”. You can reset your advertising identifier in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Children

Lunia is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
